NHS North Yorkshire & York

Working in partnership with NHS North Yorkshire and York, InHealth is now an accredited provider of the GP direct referral service for DXA.

This service is offered from 3 community locations and includes a peripheral DXA scan and an axial scan if necessary.

Benefits of the Community DXA Service

• A full end to end service consisting of booking, scanning and reporting 
• Costs of the scans are charged at the NHS tariff rate
• Patients appointments can be booked directly using Choose & Book
• Patients are seen within two weeks of receiving the referral
• Reports are returned to the GP within 48 hours of the scan
