Funding your treatment

If you are not having a PET/CT scan at the Nottingham PET/CT Centre through the NHS, there are two ways of covering the cost of your test. Firstly, it may be covered by private medical insurance or you may choose to pay for the test yourself.

By private medical insurance

If you have private medical insurance and wish to use it for your scan, you will need to contact your insurer to check that they will cover the cost of the test.

Paying for your test yourself

You can pay for the test yourself.
